BALTIMORE — Baltimore County police told WBAL TV 11 News that four bodies were found in the Sheraton Baltimore North Hotel in Towson Monday afternoon.  Police spokesman Bill Toohey said they received a call at about 3 p.m. informing them the dead bodies were in a room on the 10th floor of the hotel along Dulaney Valley Road.  Toohey said the party in the room was supposed to check out Monday. He said a housekeeper tried to get in the room, but it was locked. The bodies were found once the door was opened.

SAN MATEO, Calif. — A contractor hired to remove a 70-foot fishing boat that crashed into the San Mateo-Hayward bridge during a windstorm Tuesday is bringing in larger equipment Monday to remove the boat’s hull and engine, California Department of Transportation spokeswoman Lauren Wonder said.  A crew from Vortex Marine Construction, the outfit contracted to salvage the fishing vessel "Big Timber," has removed the top of the boat, including the mast and rigging, but the hull and engine are wedged into the mud and were too heavy for the barge and crane that crews initially brought in, Wonder said.
